ISO 9001: 2008 is divided into a number of chapters. Each chapter is divided into a number of sections and subsections.
4 - Quality Management System
Your quality
management system must contain a number of elements. This site describes the
requirements for the quality manual, documents and records, etc.
Mention in
your quality manual (4.2.2) which sections of Chapter 7 you exclude. If they
cannot be applied, provide a justification for exclusion.
5 - Management Responsibility
Top management must play an active role in developing and implementing the quality management system. The standard requires some issues to be completed by top management.
6 – Resource Management
You must make sufficient resources available to allow the quality management system to function. This includes work environment, people, training, equipment, etc.
7 – Product Realization
You need to control the processes from quotation, to order receipt, development, assembly and delivery to the customer including service and support.
